Startup Roulette

In the startup Roulette startups and investors are matched to get to know each other in a speed-dating format. Each startup will meet with 2-3 investors for 20 min each. The goal is to investigate the potential for a collaboration with the ideal outcome being a follow up meeting to discuss investment opportunities further.

We expect to host 20-30 startups and 15-20 investors and will conduct a prior analysis of all participating startup to create matches that are most relevant and promising. In addition to the matched pairings all investors and startups have the chance to get to know each other in the networking event taking place after the speed-dating session. To make clear which other connections might be most useful for the participants the full list of start-ups and investors will be send in advance.

Open call

We invite 20-30 startups that fulfil the following requirements:

  • Actively raising funding or preparing to raise funding within the next 9 months
  • Validated solution
  • In case of new technology → Proof of concept
  • In case of service/product → product market fit
  • Innovative in Nature
  • Driven by purpose reaching beyond pure profits
We also encourage startups that do not meet all of the requirements to apply. In such cases please provide a justification as to why your participation would still be a good fit.
